PSR/PSD3 in final stage ahead of formal adoption

In the second quarter of 2026, the Payment Services Package (PSR/PSD3) entered its final legislative phase with the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs approving the final compromise texts and Member States having already provisionally endorsed the agreement at Council level. Final adoption is now expected in December 2026.
